Our Credentials

Certifications are evidence, not theater.

Certifications verify a baseline of knowledge. They do not replace judgment, but they confirm that an engineer did the work. Cyber One Solutions invests in credentials every year. This page lists the certifications our team currently holds.

Individual credentials versus company-level credentials.

Some credentials belong to individual engineers and move with the person. Others are held at the company level and require ongoing training across multiple staff members.

Both types matter. A single certified engineer is a point of failure. Multiple certified engineers across the same stack is operational reliability. We list both here so clients understand the depth behind a given technology.

Vendor partner tier status.

Vendor partner tiers are earned through certified headcount, annual training, and delivered client engagements.

Top-tier status unlocks preferred pricing, direct engineering escalation, and early access to product roadmap briefings. Those advantages mean faster issue resolution and better-informed recommendations.

Continuing education as a standing commitment.

Every engineer at Cyber One Solutions has an annual training budget and a documented growth plan. Training time is protected from client work so it actually happens.

The goal is a team that stays current with evolving products, evolving threats, and evolving compliance requirements. We do not want a team that relies on credentials earned years ago.

Why vendor certifications matter to a buyer.

A vendor certification confirms that an engineer was tested by the maker of the product, not just self-taught from documentation. That distinction matters most during a difficult deployment or an active incident. In those moments, the difference between a correct and an incorrect configuration is measured in downtime.

Certifications also unlock direct manufacturer support channels. When a certified engineer escalates a case, the vendor already knows the person on the ticket has verified skills. That shortens the path to a resolution.

How state licensing differs from certification.

A certification is voluntary proof of skill issued by a vendor or industry body. A state license is a legal authorization issued by a government agency. Performing licensed work without one is unlawful.

For physical security work such as alarm, camera, and access control installation, Texas requires a Private Security License. Hiring an unlicensed installer shifts legal and insurance liability to the business owner. Verifying the license is a basic step in vendor due diligence.

How to independently verify a provider's credentials.

Reputable credentials are verifiable at the source. Vendor partner status can be confirmed through the manufacturer. State licenses can be checked with the issuing agency. Trademarks can be verified through the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

A buyer should never have to take a claim on faith. When a provider lists a credential, ask where it can be confirmed. If the provider cannot point you to an independent record, treat that as a warning sign.

Frequently asked questions.

Can I verify specific engineer credentials?

Yes. For specific technical engagements, we can provide individual engineer credentials and verification links on request. We respect privacy. When that information goes beyond the publicly listed company credentials, we share it under a non-disclosure agreement.

Do you hold any framework credentials outside of vendor certifications?

Yes. Our team holds credentials across ISC2, ISACA, Offensive Security, CompTIA, and several compliance-focused programs. Those framework credentials complement the vendor-specific certifications. They are what we lean on during compliance consulting work.

Is Cyber One Solutions a licensed physical security contractor in Texas?

Yes. Cyber One Solutions holds Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security License No. B29745201 for alarm systems installation. The Texas DPS Private Security Bureau issues and regulates this license. It is required to legally install alarm and physical security systems in the state of Texas. We are also a Ubiquiti Certified Partner and Professional Installer. You can verify both on the official Ubiquiti installer directory at installers.ui.com.

What Microsoft certifications and partner status does Cyber One Solutions hold?

Cyber One Solutions is an authorized Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) with active Microsoft partner status. Our engineers hold individual Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft 365 credentials. We maintain these on Microsoft's current renewal schedule. Our CSP status supports direct licensing, tenant management, and partner support escalation for complex technical issues.

What does Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) status actually mean?

A Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider is authorized to sell, provision, and manage Microsoft cloud services directly. It also bills directly with Microsoft. In practical terms, a CSP can buy your licensing and manage your Microsoft 365 or Azure tenant. It can also escalate support cases through partner channels rather than a general consumer queue. That removes the reseller chain and puts a single accountable partner between you and the platform. Cyber One Solutions maintains its CSP designation and manages Microsoft licensing and tenants under it.

Do certifications guarantee that nothing will go wrong?

No, and any provider who implies otherwise is overselling. Certifications confirm a verified baseline of knowledge. Licenses confirm legal authorization to perform regulated work. Both reduce the risk of avoidable mistakes. Sound judgment, disciplined process, and good documentation still carry the outcome. We treat credentials as necessary evidence of skill, not as a substitute for the discipline behind every engagement.

How often do certifications and licenses need to be renewed?

Renewal cycles vary by issuer. Many vendor and industry certifications expire on a fixed cycle, often every one to three years. Staying active requires continuing education or retesting. State licenses are renewed on the schedule set by the issuing agency. They must remain in good standing to authorize regulated work. An expired certification or a lapsed license provides no value to a client. Cyber One Solutions keeps every credential current rather than letting it lapse.
